Laura Plantation is a French Creole home built in 1805 by slave labor. Laura Plantation was built by Guillaume DuParc on the site of a Colapissa Indian settlement.. Tour guides introduce you to 'Laura' and her family. Laura was the great grand-daughter of the builder. Under the main house was a wine cellar.
